EIS loss relief
Along with many other people I invested in a startup company. I invested £5010. I claimed EIS tax relief on my investment. The company has just gone through administration and is now owned by another company. I’ve been told that I can claim EIS loss relief on my loss.
Has anyone ever done this? and if so did you call HMRC to start the process?
Thanks

As you no doubt know, it is worth mentioning that, unlike other capital losses, it can be set against income as well as other capital gains.[Deleted User] said:
Include it in SA108 on your self-assessment tax return.
