Can I substitute the national insurance record of my ex husband for my own.

Money saving expert November 2020 I took a screen shot of this ……
” If you were married and divorced and reached state pension without remarrying you can substitute the national insurance record of your ex husband for your own up to the date of your divorce, This means you may be eligible for an increased state pension”
When I enquired on Ni information telephone helpline I was told they have never heard of that and I can’t. I just found a screen shot from a gov website 2018 saying I can. Can you please help clarify the situation? Many thanks.
Further info,
I retire September this year. I was unable to pay voluntary NI contributions 1993-1999. I was married and my husband took a job with the Spanish branch of his company. I moved to be with him, had no work visa so couldn’t work and was supported by him for those years.
He was still paying NI contributions via his uk employers PAYE scheme. Sunseeker International. For which I believed my NI contributions were also covered. However those years from 1990 -1997 I now see these are missing in my NI records. Sunseeker say they have no records that go back that far,

Its Pensions people you need to talk to not National Insurance."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0

There are a few sites out there stating the same ......... but ......... they have the caveatThis page has been designed to provide information to divorced women who reached state pension age before 6th April 2016.
The 2016 changes to the state pension had massive consequences around the transfer of entitlement.
Highly unusual for a company to pay spouse NI.

Presumably you have obtained a state pension forecast?
https://www.gov.uk/check-state-pension
What exactly does it show?
And see (but bear in mind NSP started 6/4/16)
