Hi, 

I’ve received two emails from TM Legal service stating there is a CCJ against my name for a debt from someone called The Lending stream.

i have no outstanding debts other than my mortgage, I have checked the register and have no CCJ’s. Any small loans I had were well over 20 years ago and were paid off within a year of having them.

i don’t understand where this has come from or what I should do? Should I contact TM Legal? I am worried they will see that as acknowledgment of a debt and pursue, or shall I ignore?

If you Google TM Legal Services scam you will see they are well known for this.

Personally I would ignore them at the moment.

Lending Stream is a Pay Day Loan company which may now have switched into short term loan lending to avoid the Pay Day Loan rules. They haven't changed their name over the many years they have been sucking blood.

You'll know if you used them or if this is pure fantasy.
