Oh congratulations on your offer! Their time frames aren’t too bad at the moment! They have asked a few queries today around some recent borrowing but nothing too scary sounding so we are just praying to have our offer next week 🙏🏼

We are so lucky to where no chain either side as we are renting and this property is empty so fingers crossed there’s not much delay after this! It doesn’t stop it all being stressful.

We have had to use Aldermore as had to do recent finance so got told no by high street banks - so we just don’t want to lose this house

Yeah but we only have to do a 2 year fixed with Aldermore so I’m sure the future options will open up a lot more. Our worst case scenario is no offer and we lose this house but we only need to wait 6 months and with good spending and saving other big banks like Santander have said they will lend to us, so leaving it to fate on this house (eeeek)

good luck with the process! It’s so stressful selling and buying - we sold our house 2 years ago now and have been renting since we moved areas and wanted to get to know where we are. But it does take the stress out knowing there’s no chain my goodness!

Well keep me updated and good luck 🤞🏼
  • hey, how’s everyone getting on with their applications? I am so anxious at the moment! My valuation was completed a while ago but I am still waiting on a decision and now it looks like Aldermore wants more information! Starting to loose hope.

Valuation was done on 5th - we had a few queries since and now it’s gone a little quiet. When was your valuation? It’s so nerve racking isn’t it.. we are pinning all our hopes of getting this one house on this offer.
