£40 pounds tracked in Quidco for my car insurance which only cost £1.85 more than the cheapest quote I could possibly find!!
started Slicethepie it's hard work for me as I'm not very musically inclined, hoping OH will take it over.

Also received an email to say that we are going to get complimentary tickets for bowling as I complained about how bad it was the last time we went.

Don't know if I'll sell these or use them... either way it is a result!!

  • i did a search for pinecone and this thread came up. if this is of use to anybody i have been sent a referral link from pinecone, asking me to send it to any MALES over 18 who i think would like to join. only one person can sign up per household, but i suppose some of you might have other addresses you could use (they send £4 luncheon vouchers to your hoouse after you complete one of their online surveys - surveys take about half a n hour). i don't know if they can find out if you are lying about being male .

    edit - my email says:
    Dear Panellist,

If you have ever told a friend about receiving £4.00 for doing surveys for PineCone Research, it is likely that they have asked, "How can I join?"

We have immediate membership openings for MALE consumers 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER who are NOT a member of your household.

Do you know of households that meet this description that would like to join the PineCone Research Panel? If so, please FORWARD A COPY of this e-mail to each household you would like to refer so that they may click on the registration link shown below. That household should complete the registration form themselves and submit it. REMEMBER THAT ONLY ONE PERSON PER HOUSEHOLD MAY REGISTER. Multiple registrations of the same Household or Person will void all registrations.

A link to the registration page also follows.

If your referral has any questions, they can email us at scott@pineconeresearch.co.uk or click on the attached links to learn more about PineCone Research and our parent company.

While this is not a paid referral program, we genuinely appreciate your help in spreading the word that PINECONE IS GROWING!

Have claimed £15 from surveys not already counted to this challenge. I am really pleased with how this is going, my husband thinks I'm trying to make £5 a day - and doesn't think I'll be able to do it / keep it up - so the gauntlet has been thrown down - haven't admitted how well I've done yet as it could all come to a grinding halt but I reeeeeeeeally do hope that I can keep the momentum up, on a smaller scale though as signed up to everything now that can be signed up to (I think), keep watching the post for more inspiration - there seems to be some around every corner.
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

We were going through all our old credit card statements today to take into the bank about our mortgage, and noticed that DH has something called 'Member points' on his Virgin card. After a bit of work to try and find usernames etc, managed to get onto their website, and...

    :j got £30 Sainsbury's, £10 Bonus Bond and £5 Argos vouchers!!!:j
Had to put £8.36 towards the Argos/Bonus bit (bit of a complicated system if you ask me!) so I won't count them as they'll probably be frittered away, but £30 of completely free groceries is definitely a bonus!

Other than that, today's total is a Ciao survey for 73p.

Today: £30.73 Month so far: £289.32/£140
