The Admin competely changed the design from which was like MSE to a DIGG type one. Unfortuantely he didn't bother beta testing it that much and the result was a buggy as poo forum that blinded you (it's still buggy as hell now about amonth later). Nothing new there in the world of internet forums you may say... however, the attitude of the Admin to people who complained was absolutely disgraceful and so many people left.

A massive site change, saw all the long time members finding it very difficult to post and orientate themselves around the site.

Although it seems the biggest bugbear was the way the changeover was handled. It was an approach along the lines of here is my new great site like it or lump it.

So they did the latter and moved to another site. www.ukdealshare.co.uk was set up purely for the disgruntled HUKD users and many of the long time users that interconnect everyday soon got word of the new site, and find it a simple place to meet and post.

HUKD has tried to change many things on the site, but many issues still remain.

The biggest change has seen a lot of the HUKD 'big hitters' move to UKDS (www.ukdealshare.co.uk) and with it a lot of the good deals are found there. Slowly a lot of the 'I like the site, so I'm staying faction' are moving over to the UKDS site, as they are finding the community feel on that site is a lot better. Likewise, at the beginning, a lot of the 'I'm outta here' users went to UKDS to then return to HUKD.
