Just trying to get my head round things for impending bankruptcy.
Me and my partner have just had to give up our business due to becoming unviable re energy costs. We lived above so also have had to move to temporary accommodation. One of our creditors has petitioned for bankruptcy which we won't be challenging.
Obviously we have now applied for universal credit which has to be a joint application. All other bills etc we share and we will both be made bankrupt
How does this work with IPA and expenses. Is it all viewed jointly or split somehow. I already have itchy fingers to find a new job just trying to get my head round finances.

If you are both claiming UC then you won't get an IPA. It will only be a possibility if you start work again.1
