Car Insurance Court Case

The issue date is the 13th, but the person I spoke to from the Court on the phone today said that it is the issue date I should be looking at. There is an acknowledgement part, which would allow me to get another 14 day extension, but I do not kno what to put in it as I'd still have to decide on the defence. Today, after the call with insurance and court, I went to see Citizens Advice, and he managed to get the phone number of the solicitors from the operator. When I have called earlier, he said he was unable to provide me with it. I honetly don't think my insurace knows what they're doing themselves. It seems to be a repetitive issue as they literally have a defence enquiries gmail. I have emailed a copy of the letter to them, but I will call tomorrow during opening hours.400ixl said:Is the 8 days the date to acknowledge the receipt of the documents rather than to submit your defence?
I would go back to the insurer and get them to be clear about the acknowledgement vs defence response and what you should be doing. Speaking to someone in their legal team would be better than just the customer services team who will answer the phone.
