Cod - how long is it ok to eat?

Bought cod from fresh fish counter in Waitrose on Sunday, no best before date on it. Not sure whether it's still ok to use? I made a fish pie with it today to reheat tomorrow. Now wondering if I should just bin it.
Any advice? Have googled, but can't find much.

No, it smelled ok - I always sniff before I cook! Have run this question by a few people who all said should be fine, so going to chance it I think.0
