Hello all,
I was just wondering if anyone can give me some opinions on their experiences with accord and new mortgage applications. Namely, how long they take to review additional documents supplied to them such as bank statements and what they mean when they say the 'instruct a mortgage valuation for the property on day 1’
Thank you in advance

They will instruct a surveyor of their choice to contact the builder/agent/vendor to arrange an inspection of the property to be purchased. The report from this inspection is then sent to Accord for approval.
Most lenders now do this at the outset and no longer have a "accepted subject to valuation" milestone as many did in the past.I am a mortgage broker.
