I am struggling, second job ideas?

Hi all,
I am new to this forum long time reader though.
I am new to this forum long time reader though.
I have around £9000 in debt between a personal loan and credit card, the card is 0% and I am making the payments to get me out of it.
The problem is have is between my personal loan payments my card payments, my car repayment plus rent and childcare I am in overdraft without really spending much.
My old job paid better and I am looking for a new job. But if I can just even make another 500-1000 a month I would have some breathing space.
Are there any second jobs I can take ideally that are at home? I don’t really make or craft anything my skills are largely in sales and BD.
Until I find a new job I badly need to find a way to secure another income my partner doesn’t want me being away from home as i work long hours anyway and family time important too.
Any suggestions or ideas I would be really grateful.

Another £500-£1000 a month from a second part time job at home is quite unlikely unless you have some specialised skills.
Have you considered going onto putting up a statement of affairs for people to suggest where you might be able to cut back?
Does your partner work?

Allowing that you say that your earnings are not equal, have you checked that you are each paying the relevant proportion of any bills? It sounds really obvious, but you'd be amazed how often we get people on here who in spite of a partner earning 33% more than they do, the bills are still split equally between them, and then of course it's no wonder that the sums don't add up!
Another question to consider is how the debt was accrued - was it as a result of personal spending of some sort, or just on general household expenditure at a time when perhaps one of the other of you were earning less? If the latter, then the clearing of the debt should be being split between you, rather than you taking on the full weight of this.
If the debt is fully personal to you, then I'd suggest that there is still a place for you and your partner working together on the financial side to get things sorted and get the debt gone - ultimately it will affect you both, so the sooner it is gone, the better for the household as a whole.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

All fair points! I would still be keen to look at ways I can make an additional income either selling things or an additional job or side hussle0

I found this, which might give you an idea of how some of the different online tutoring companies work. It’s a 2020 page so rates will have changed since then.

Some of the other sites, such as Kip McGrath need you to be a qualified teacher.
Otherwise you’re looking at local advertising and trying to find people yourself. The other option is to see if there’s anything else that matches your skill set on sites such as people per hour. I have to be honest when I looked into it, there wasn’t anything anything that wasn’t been massively undercut by people elsewhere, but I don’t have any spectacular skills that would be in high demand which might have made a difference. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
