Update payslip address

Hello all,
I've applied for a loan and just realised that I haven't updated my address with my work so my payslip is showing my old address online which is different to my bank statement.
Does anyone have any experience of payroll or how HR works. Would they be able to change the details on my last wage slip or would I need to wait until the next one generates?
I've asked my work anyway if this can be done.

As you have already asked your work there is nothing really to add here. The answer is Yes, No and Maybe. Only the employer can provide a definitive answer.

Certainly mine can't backdate changes of address once the payroll has run and generated the pay slip.0

Plus they probably want your last three years' worth of addresses, so they might have the old one in your application anyway?
Top tip: update HMRC via your individual tax account, and don't forget to tell DVLA for your driving licence, and your V5 (if you're a driver with a car).
And your pension provider! It's possible your payroll changing it will update with HMRC and pension, but I wouldn't rely on it!Signature removed for peace of mind0
