Don't think we have seasons any more (including the weather.!). Best bet is to keep a look out for BOGOFs, Sales, Clearances, Over-stocks etc or just short-cut this and carry on reading MSE...0

I always buy barbeque and gardening things at the end of the summer when they are on offer because the shops are clearing the shelves for winter stock.
