Sorry I did mean to clarify I no longer live with him, and have only kept contact for the car. If I can terminate the contract it means I can in effect block him too so no more abuse would continue. May have to take the loss on the other money owed but I don’t know if you can take a person to small claims court or not.

main issue right now is the car really, thank you for the above that’s really helpful. I’m going to speak to the finance company today to see what they suggest but that helps with knowing what my rights are
