Civil Service Partnership Pension Scheme - ill-health retirement quote

My partner is a member of the Civil Service Partnership Pension Scheme and has recently been granted ill-health retirement. He has received an ill-health retirement quote which is a lump sum and now has to complete a personal details form to finalize everything.

A few questions arising from this:

1, It's not specified on the quote, but will this lump sum be tax-free?
2. Our understanding is that this is entirely separate to any lump sum he may choose to take from Legal & General (the current scheme administrator) as part of his retirement options - is that correct?
3. One of the questions on the form asks "Do you intend to take retirement benefits from any other registered pension schemes, including any deferred Civil Service pension benefits, AVCs, or Stakeholder pension, at the same time as taking your Civil Service pension benefits? (If yes, you will need to get an estimate of the expected lifetime allowance which will be used up under the other schemes and send copies to us)"

He has a pot with Aviva from a previous employer which will definitely fall into this category. I presume he *doesn't* have to declare the pot built up during his last 5 years Civil Service employment that is sitting with Legal and General given they are the CSPPS's current pension administrator - correct? What I'm not sure of is the pot that's with Standard Life which was also built up in his Civil Service employment. I note the Civil Service Pensions website says"Civil Service Pensions no longer manages any partnership pension accounts that members held with Prudential, Scottish Widows or Standard Life before 1 September 2018" So does that now count as "any other registered pension scheme" for the purposes of completing the form?

Grateful for any advice!
