EPC F and Mortgage

Hi- my daughter has put an offer in on a property with an EPC of F. Will she be restricted on getting a mortgage because of their poor rating. It’s a gorgeous house but has no central heating (the neighbours do so it shouldn’t be a problem). Thanks

No. If it were a BTL it might be a problem but residential should be fine - although it will be subject to valuers comments.

Good! It would be worrying if they were not haha.
I love it when we get first time buyers, I remember buying my first home so I still get that buzz when I get first time buyers. Its a lot nicer telling them they have a mortgage offer than a landlord who has 10 houses and its just business.

Do you mean less😜?  They know it’ll affect their bills so they’re  planning on putting in a combi boiler and central heating as well as insulating the loft. 😊
