I learned to touch-type using a software package called "Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing". It was a very long time ago and was, then, a paid for software on disc. I suspect the same product remains available today, possibly online, possibly free, possibly with a low charge. Based on my experience, I would recommend it even if there is a charge as the results are very effective in my case.
Obviously, this recommendation may not meet the OP's desire for "free".0 -
I was going to suggest Mavis Beacon too.
Using her name in a search engine should locate free learning material.
