Any tips or secrets for passing behavioural interview questions?

I used to be terrible at those sort of interviews. If the question wasn’t what I expected I fell apart and preparing too much just made it worse, because I couldn’t adapt my answers to the question. Instead now I prepare a list of my best workplace examples with key results and order them based on the competency the could be used for (it could be more than one). I try to have 2-3 examples for each of the most likely competencies so I can adapt to the questions., but I don’t stress too much about memorising the details. Looking at your job spec I’d prepare examples on time management/prioritisation, team work, communication and persuasion.0
