Hobbycraft have a good selection of the traditional type, I bought my dd one for Xmas to encourage her to start sewing! (I think its one pressie she hasnt lingered over, but Im hoping....)
Personally Ive abandoned my own traditional, very lovely one, as its too small and doesnt have a handle, in favour of a plastic one with a handle which is more practical for everyday use but not as decorative.0 -
I bought pretty gold prezzie boxes from Wilkinsons and filled them with sewing things from Dunelm Mill for my two daughters.0

I use my children's old Winnie The Pooh nappy box-it's perfect!0
