If you want a wider fund choice and are content to DIY, you could consider transferring the old plans to a SIPP and transferring NEST to the SIPP when you retire?0

Don't confuse using the right provider for you during your accumulation phase with using the right provider for you during your decumulation phase. Aviva are refunding management charges through extra fund injection. NEST according to fund tables has done better over just about every time period. Don't like their post retirement options though.
