Tipton - connection is not secure message - anyone else

I am trying to log on to check my balance on my phone through the app and have had a message pop up after the “getting things ready” screen to say “connection is not secure contact Tipton”? Is anyone else seeing this or do I need to worry about my phone security? Thank you

Also getting this. Bizarrely I only updated my OS to the latest version on Sunday and had been using the app for months on an outdated version with no objection from Tipton at all.

"Thank you for your enquiry. We have a known issue with our app that is stopping people accessing it. We have escalated this and hope to have this resolved soon.

Yes. I initially reported this issue some months ago and the issue has got worse over time (escalating from needing two goes to log in to no longer being functional for me just this past week). 

It’s probably now at the tipping point where enough has gone wrong, and enough users have reported this and given evidence as to what’s wrong, for them to now grapple with it. They can now identify exactly what’s buggy and what the fix is. Hopefully soon!

Just found an update in the iOS App Store that allows me into the app. Showing as released 2 days ago.

Saw above and looked on Google Play Store but no update there. Tried the app and it opened first time - had had same problems as everyone else in last few days.

Been getting this today, first attempt at 8am.Removed and reinstalled made no difference.
