So they are saying they will send the formal preaction letter after 28/2.

So this is like a pre-preaction letter?

The one you're looking out for is the one I think I gave a link to earlier

Sorry, it was on a different thread

That's typical debt collector tactics, wording things to try and make people imagine the worst.
Tactics? solictior letter received today, if i dont resposned by 28.02.24 letter of claim will issued. Following advice on here CCJ action rare? well thats 2 now.

There are tactics involved, if they are so sure they have a case then why send two letters saying what they are going to do instead of just doing it? Keep an eye out the an actual letter of clam, and if you get one respond asking for the information mentioned on Debt Camel.

I interpret this a bit differently.

Some solicitors are not entirely up to speed on the requirement to send the standard pre-action letter, with the 30 day response time, and instead still send the old fashioned threatogram style letter, this is what I believe you have received.

Can you tell us word for word the contents of this letter, as they are saying they will escalate to a claim after 28/2.

What, exactly have they sent you @Sly72 ?

Have spoken with Drydens Solicitors them sent evidance to show its unenfoceable, so they have refered back to capquest.
