DMP and affect on partner

Hi, I am just entering into a dmp with step change. The debts are all in my own name but I do have a joint mortgage with my husband. How will this affect him and or the mortgage - from what I can see it won’t affect the mortgage if we stay with the same provider?
Is his credit file likely to be affected?
Advice from anyone who’s been in this situation would be greatly appreciated.
Also, will it affect our home insurance options, other joint bills such as broadband etc. none of these are included in the debts though. We are up to date with all payments
And finally, after the accounts have defaulted I understand this stays on the credit report for 6 years. What happens if I am still paying it all
off in 6 years, will it affect my report still then? Are you able to get any credit at all during this time? Not that I want to but i’m wondering if it would affect his ability to get a loan or credit card

It will affect him because he's financially linked to someone with defaults. Nothing you can do about it.
6years after the default the whole entry drops off whether you are paying or not.
It shouldn't affect your ability to get insurance or broadband1
