Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Still dark, dry underfoot, bit windy, rain forecast after today.
Dinner tonight will be a quick ping meal from the freezer, trying to use up what we have, so not sure what we'll be eating.! Lunch was beef yesterday some LO's for tomorrow.
Back to work today - busy week.
Keep safe and well x

Morning All
Very windy again this morning with some rain thrown in for good measure, not a great start for a Monday morning!
I went to see my friend's family yesterday which was hard but had to be done. It was actually ok and we had a few laughs, felt better for seeing them. We should hear of the arrangements today.
I made a rather nice pasta dish yesterday and will have some leftovers for lunch at work today once I've cleaned the staffroom microwave - teachers really are quite disgusting!
Hope everyone is well or recovering, take care. XX10 -
Happy Monday everyone
Well that weekend went by in a blur.Slight change of plan today - B-dog has an eye infection or possibly conjunctivitis I think - he felt very sorry for himself with squinty eyes yesterday so I’ll ring the vet when they open. Also need to go to the laundrette to wash a sleeping bag cos I might go away in the campervan at the weekend - not sure I’ll get both those things done in one trip.Orders to drop off at the post office and more things to make so that’ll be the day done I think.AA10 -
Morning.I was serenaded to sleep by the raucous west coast winds again, it was so noisy. We still have a yellow weather warning for rain today, just like yesterday. I managed the start clearing up paperwork but still have some to do. A quick wash was done too so that's hanging on the airer upstairs. This morning I'm going to the exercise class and will take the recycling bag to empty, there's a large blue dumpster in the village hall car park. No plans yet for the rest of the day though I will continue with the paperwork. Exciting?Keep safe and warm. Hugs to our poorlies.9

Morning all. The bin men have been so I need to go and retrieve ours from the path.
Today I need a bit of shopping and to sort out something for tonight's dinner. DD is bringing the grandchildren round after school as DGS has been asking to come and play with the toy tractor. I need to sort out arrangements for half term so will do that whilst she's here.
Other than that the day is waiting to be filled
Take care all.8 -
Morning folks and thanks NMLC. We still have the ever present gusty winds with us but only light rain is promised later.
It's still reasonably mild so finally the tall freezer defrosting will get underway today before the cold stuff is back midweek. It's never been this clogged with ice. Whether I progress on to the smaller freezer remains to be seen! Meanwhile I have more soup on the go. I wasn't too happy with the celery soup I made on Saturday so that has been disposed of and I am back to my favourite - lentil and bacon. The dw has been loaded and now doing it's thing and I've just done my Ocado order for Wednesday so a few jobs already out of the way. With DGD here most of the w/e I am a bit behind myself.
Have a lovely day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies (including poorly pets) sad, worried or lonely. Take care all and be safe xx

Morning all
Fairly mild and overcast here but no rain due, I have Rob coming today and we were meeting with friends but they have had to cancel, so I think we will take the dogs out and have a day at home and do some baking.
Dinner tonight will be chicken and chorizo tray bake I will make it up this morning so that it’s ready to pop in the oven later, I have a lady coming to do my annual H & S check this afternoon which takes about an hour so the dinner will be cooking away while she is here.
I need to have a tidy through and run the hoover over downstairs and make sure the bedrooms are presentable as she has to check every room.
Have good days all and take care xx9 -
Morning everyone
Windy again and meant to get worse later. I managed to get all my photos onto Snapfish yesterday, still need to sort out which ones I want printed.
Work at lunchtime but I'm going to go down earlier and go and have a cuppa with a friend, her mum died recently. Little one is coming for tea and will stay tonight, as she has a hospital appointment tomorrow morning, so won't be going to school until later. It's just in town so she doesn't have to miss the whole day.
Right I'd better get my jobs done - hope everyone has a good day x10 -
Hello all, the wind is back here too and the air is damp which is not good when your hair tends to be curly anyway. My pillow came yesterday but I couldn't try it out as it has to "breathe" for a couple of days 🙄 I was glad when Dad went home yesterday, he drove me nuts !
Today I need to visit the surgery to do a prescription request and then on to the pharmacy to get my hospital script filled. I don't really want to go out but the weather will be rain, rain and more rain for the rest of the week apparently so today it will have to be. I also have to fill my tablet dispenser and put the bins out, another one with an exciting day ahead !
Take care all, stay safe and well. Hugs to everyone.

Hello everyone, dull, grey and windy through the night. After the football activity we collected a bed frame from our storage place and got it assembled downstairs. There is still a desk to fetch over,it's the same as DS already has, with the cellar being much bigger he can have them alongside each other, so things are taking shape. He came back from his birthday weekend just before we went out for an early meal with friends at the little Italian up the road. It was really busy, and noisy, there was a large party with quite a few children, though I think the adults made more noise than the kids! Enjoyed it though, made a nice change.I'm going to ring the hospice shop to arrange a collection , we did have the items on Mplace, inundated with messages but no-one came to look, someone wanted the bookcase delivered, to a town about 20 miles away.DH got a bit fed up with it and said they'd gone.I'm cooking a chicken for tonight, might do it before we go for DGS as it gets a bit late by the time we get home.Take care everyone x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Morning all! Wow, it's a little bit windy out there today, good job I am not planning on going anywhere. I enjoyed the loaf of rye bread so much last week I ordered another one which I have to pick up tomorrow. OH is still coming down ater his stressful performace yesterday. Now he just has to hone it a bit which may or may not reduce his stress levels...I don't think he's eaten a proper meal for over a week now. I'm questioning how worth it it is if it's going to make him this stressed. On the plus side the kitchen was tidied a bit more yesterday and I made a chilli cauli cheese to use up some of the Christmas cheese and an impossible cake because I liked the sound of it and Ive had some coconut bits in a bag for over a year to use up. He did eat some cake though ....camelot, well done for going, it's really difficult to know what to say sometimes and feeling awkward about visiting in case you're imposing or something but honestly, I think most people would welcome visitors because they show you how someone was valued and will be remembered. Allie, hope your dog has something easily treatable! TA, I might have to take some bacon out now, I have a hankering for a lentil and bacon soup...dp1, condolences to your friend, I miss mine more every year. Rosy, I feel your pain, you really do have to weed out the idiots on there, can you deliver, can you hold it for a month, will you take 5 pounds, I want it but you have to deliver and take five pounds. Or if they collect it, oh, I only have this much money on me, can it be cheaper etc Then there are the scammers, I've only got paypal, or someone else will come to collect, I can only pay by bank transfer etc etc...sometimes it's just not worth it. And after that little rant, take care all, have a hug if you need one...Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi7
