Porting to property with annexe

Options
Hello,

looking to purchase a property with annexe ( would be considered separate dwelling) but porting mortgage (been with Barclays nearly 10 years), a brief chat with mortgage advisor on phone suggested they wouldn’t even visit property but do an AVM.

So my question is how closely will they look at purchase ? Will they find out it has an annexe ? And would this affect our porting?

we have no plans to rent/let out annexe but plan to incorporate it back into family home.

Any answers or comments appreciated, many thanks

    There is nothing published.
You can either check upfront or apply and keep your fingers crossed.

But if anything crops up at the legal stage, the solicitor will/should inform the lender.
