Funding for Training Courses

Options
Evening.

i am looking into whether there are any organisations out there that help with or offer funding for adults wanting to do training courses for RICS building surveying.

i have been working as an asbestos surveyor for around 10 years and want to move into building surveying and evaluation surveys. There does not seem to be any companies that take on trainees and if they do they still require a degree.

Another avenue in is a diploma in building surveying which can also count towards practical experience. However, the courses are around £16,000!

Can anyone offer some advice on this or point me in the right direction?

If you sign up from a degree instead of a diploma you would be entitled to a student loan.

There is also advanced learner loans but no idea if your course quality's https://www.gov.uk/advanced-learner-loan

Does this help at all: https://www.rics.org/surveyor-careers/how-to-become-a-surveyor/surveying-apprenticeships
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

Unfortunately the course does not qualify and I’m not in a position to do a degree due to family and financial commitments 😞
