Flint Bishop Court Claim Form

I wondered if someone can advise me.
A Company has had now 3 letters from Flint Bishop - the first with a the draft Court letter. They state that NPower is owed a balance in excess of £2,800 from period 01/10/2020 - 19/11/2020. Surely, as this is in excess of 3 years ago, it cannot be correct and why chase now? Plus any payment was taken by DD

Bit of a vague question, a little more information would be nice.
Is this an actual court claim, a letter before action, or just a letter with the threat of court action?
Details are important here.

A draft court letter? Sounds like 'we haven't started a court claim but if we did, this is what it would look like'
Is it believable that this 'company' used £2800 of electricity in 6 weeks?0
