Remortgage ported mortgage

Hello! Hoping someone can offer some advice / guidance please!
We moved house 4yrs ago, porting our existing mortgage which runs out at the end of March.
As part of the move we took an additional mortgage with the same lender to ‘top up’ to the new house price - this part is on a fixed deal until 2029.
My question is can we remortgage the first / ported part of the mortgage with another lender easily enough, or do we need to have both parts with the same lender?
Thanks!

Both parts with same lender.
Worth looking at the product transfer rates available for the bit about to run out.

Ok thanks. Had a bad feeling that would be the case. With YBS whose rates haven’t come down as much as others… :-(0
