hiya :santa2: well done for trying to sort yourself out! the first thing you have to do is stop spending (easier said than done i know) you have catalogues and credit cards that will never go down unless you stop spending on them!
try to use what you have got already and get your sewing kit out instead of buying new clothes. is there room at your pad to take in a lodger? could you get rid of your car because its costing you £125 a month and thats not even including repairs/service or tax. have you got anything worth ebaying or can you get a second job?
try to really buckle down in the new year and get shot of some of those cards as the interest alone must be high. you need to list these debts with interest % so you know which to tackle first.
you can dig yourself out of this mess and i think you`ve caught yourself just in time whilst its still hard but managable (sp?) im sure you will if you put your heart into it recover. try to sort yourself out now whilst you can as none of us knows whats around the corner...what happens if you lose your job  or even worse fall ill.
i wish you the very best my friend as i have been there and its not a nice place to be but spend a bit of time and effort now getting yourself sorted and it pays huge dividends in the future. i learnt my lesson well...money is a tool to be used wisely, with it life is rosy without it life is pants, have a great new year everyone
