It''s no doubt slightly more complicated than this if you have rule of 85 protection but you typically lose in two ways and gain in one.
1. You won't accrue any additional pension for that final year.
2. The pension you have accrued will be reduced, ~5% for a full year.
3. You will receive the reduced pension for an extra year.0 -
