Payment on account and what exactly I need to pay in?

Yeah I will likely pay it in tomorrow. Was just waiting for the Tax owed amount to show up just as a confirmation of the definite amount, though it's pretty obvious what that is going by the payments already made, so I can just pay it in before the deadline. Yes I will certainly write a note to myself for next TR stating exactly what I have paid and need to deduct. My brain never gets used to the payment on account thing

Submit next year's return much earlier in the year and you will have plenty to see exactly how much is due to be paid .

You can submit any time  from 6 April. No need to wait until the last minute.

haha yeah I think I said that to myself last year as same thing happened. I'll do so this year to avoid the stress.
