    Thanks for everyone who had provided the advise. It just confirms my assumption that it is a personal loan

    @tksnota"I've just come across your comment about loans. According to my knowledge, if you apply for a start-up business loan from the British Business Bank, the loan will be issued to you personally, not to your company. This means you can only use it for the specific business for which you applied, and you are personally responsible for repaying the loan, not the business."

    @Naaz616  You are four months late to the party.  Also, this does not look like a startup situation.  I suspect that the OP has been fooled into taking a personal loan for use in the business by one of the directors.
