Overpaying too excessively?

Does anyone overpay so much they have very little left over before pay day? Certainly the case for me on a few occasions
I spread direct debits out such as council now to avoid nasty shocks and overpay right before pay day rather than just after
With lower payments than before. It's not so clever no matter how tempting to overpay and then have little left over although I do travel a lot as well

If you’ve done your calculations correctly and ‘very little’ (which will mean different things to different people) is enough, there’s no problem in making the overpayments sooner rather than later and it maximises the interest saved.2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07
