Morning all
It’s a bit scary starting the thread in this well established group but as I didn’t manage to post yesterday I thought I’d do this while I have chance,
Weekends just seem like a blur though I did manage to get the van washed (have then read there’s a Sahara dust storm due 🙄) and did a spot of tidying in the garden.

Today will be more of the same, inside van today I think and some chores, upstairs windows to clean (inside) and a ton of craft shop work plus dinner to prep (spicy marmalade chicken) and lunches for work.
Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday

Morning all. Am sat here watching the Australian Open Mens Single final; no idea who I want to win.
Good party last night but I managed to bring home both chilli and salted caramel cheesecake, which doesn't usually happen, so have leftovers to eat today. DH is running a workshop after lunch, teaching a couple of Morris dances to two sides in the area so I have a day to myself.
Enjoy your Sunday everyone.10 -
Good morning Allie, I think you did a great job of starting the thread- something I've never done since I joined the thread over 15 years ago (gulp!)I've not posted again for a few days, nor caught up properly either so hope you are all ok. We decided on a whim to redo the cellar and a bedroom so DS can have his home office/ bedroom down there, it's a much bigger space than the one he's in now, but it's not really been revamped since DS2 moved out, although we did get rid of the childrens bunk beds etc and now tends to be a bit of a dumping ground if we have to tidy quick ( like last week when my cousins came to visit
) He's been painting the woodwork, we've got some paint for the walls, we've more or less emptied the cellar now so it's a blank canvas. I've made far too many trips up two flights of stairs with boxes of my craft stuff, achy legs now! I really need to sort my craft stash again, honest. We took lots of books, and other stuff to the hospice shop.
A bit of light relief watching DGS's football yesterday morning, had to set off at 8.20 as it was away and we didnt know where it was exactly. They drew and he got player of the match so he was well happy.Today I think I'm going to make chilli, as a change from a Sunday roast, my meat stocks are really depleted, apart from chicken- I'll see what meat packs my butcher has on offer tomorrow.Right time for another coffee ( I unearthed a coffee maker during my tidy of the cellar so bought some ground coffee yesterday)Have a lovely day all x

Good morning all
Thank you for the start @AlwaysAllie
Yesterday I was certain it was Sunday, everyday seems the same.
Went for a walk but didn't see anyone, not even a dog walker,
Take care
If you walk at night no-one will see you cry.11 -
Thanks for starting us off Allie. I had a little extra sleep this morning.Rosy- starting is easy, really. Just click on the
big red icon on a tablet it has a big + sign on it. Put in title and then write in the next box. New starters always welcome.
Didn't go food shopping yesterday so will be doing that today. On the way back I'll visit my friends as they live halfway between me and Oban. Always good for a cup of coffee.I hope that everyone is doing well.

Morning All
Dry and breezy again this morning but rain due later. Glad I got all the washing done yesterday, it had a good blow and just needed airing. All put away.
I went shopping yesterday and a friend came over for an hour - it was nice to see someone although I started coughing as I hadn't spoken that much for a week! Feeling better again this morning although not got much of an appetite and the Anti-Bs are making me feel a little sick but only another couple of days to go with them.
Friend and I are going to Costco this morning, I'll fill up with fuel whilst I'm there. I need to stock up on toilet rolls and washing liquid but I'm sure like TA something will 'fall' into the trolley!
Hope everyone's well - good news for Mr Fix It Nanny. Have a peaceful Sunday. Take care. XX9 -
Morning everyone thanks for the start AA enjoyed the theatre last night it’s one of the best things I’ve ever seen and they got a standing ovation brilliant the only thing I didn’t like was the parking charges nearly £15 for just over 3 hours daylight robbery no wonder people arnt going places anymore. I need to catch up with some housework today and I have a small joint to cook we will have Yorkshire puddings and veg with it later . Silver oldie at least you were out of the house is there any shops or a little cafe anywhere near you that you can wander round and if you pop in somewhere for a cuppa it’s surprising how people start chatting to you I go most places on my own and seem to always get a chat with someone in a cafe or shop just browsing you don’t have to spend any money but it’s good to hear you are getting out take care . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing11

Morning all
Dry and bright here and the sun is due out at lunchtime, we had a busy day yesterday the window cleaners came prompting me to clean some of the inside windows then the log man came so OH and I put them away, we tidied the house and then flopped on the sofa for the evening.
Today I need to hoover my car out and clean the inside it’s going into the garage on Friday after a very long argument with them to hopefully sort out the clutch problem, the inside is quite dirty so will give it a good clean and then take it into the blokes who will hand wash it during the week.
Dinner today is roast pork, OH and I have been wondering if it’s palm oil that does not agree with me, it’s happened every time I am having gravy with something and bisto contains palm oil so I am going to try a slice of pork with no gravy or I might make my own, and see what happens, fingers crossed 🤞
DD is working a late and sleeping in so no dinner for her, I shall see if mum wants to come down for one, but I will run her one round if not.
Have good days all and take care xx

Morning allHave got some lamb that was left over from a large leg we had on New Year out of the freezer and will cook in gravy for a nice easy roast for dinner. Have bought some pigs in blankets to go with them to bulk it out as there's not quite enough for 3 of us as DS is coming for dinner. Not a lot going on here at the moment. Just done some ironing and have prepped the veg so might have a look at the tennis in a mo.Keep safe everyone x11

Hello everyone,
Hope everyone's had a good day. It's been a lovely sunny day here - I got bedding dried outside and little one had a play with her hula hoop while I got a few jobs done. Yesterday afternoon we went to the library and then to see Wonka, which we both really enjoyed. Our little cinema was almost full - though I ended up being annoyed by that - the number of people who went in and out to the toilets and rustled very noisy sweetie papers. One couple even started chatting in loud voices - the steward had to come down and ask them to be quiet. Little one said 'granny I can't hear for those people' which led to a few chuckles.
But despite that the film was very good.
We went down to my mam and dads this morning - dad hasn't been feeling too good this week, he seems to be very tired. Little one sat and read him some stories which he enjoyed.
Izzy when we went to the Theatre Royal to see the pantomime, DD parked a bit further out and we went in on the metro. You get free travel on it if you show your theatre tickets, I think it's for two hours before and two hours after. Little one really loved the old theatre, she was fascinated by it - I hadn't been there for years.
Right, I'm waffling. Going to wash up and have a bath x5
