Hi guys
Ok so I need to raise funds for house repairs ( roof mainly)but because I'm on debt management it's a problem.
I currently owe 9k on my mortgage and about 2.5k on debt management
But wherever I go i get turned down
Any recommendations for brokers who could help please because I have a ton of equity in my house but it's still a struggle.
Thanks

Most local brokers to you should be fine. Difficult cases are best avoiding online factory line style brokers (the ones this site tends to recommend) as they like to cherry pick the easy stuff and tend to have less experienced staff.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

It's annoying because the equity I have they will get their money 💰0 -
The equity you have there will be options. The devil is in the detail though so rates could be alright or a bit top heavy. They are unlikely to be market leading but I am 99% sure there will be options.
As dunston says you would like to think if you stay away from certain large firms that just want the easy stuff most brokers should be fine.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. How much are you trying to raise?
The adverse specialists who will take on a DMP case won't be looking at less than a £25k mortgage.I am a mortgage broker.
