The Grocer magazine quotes the manufacturer, which states the product has been discontinued.

Yeah, I knew it was discontinued as I contacted glaxo smith kline. What I can't understand is why all the shops that had their own brand of salts have stopped making them as well. I bought Enos from Chemist4U but now they've stopped selling them as well. They are still making this product in Spain and Sweden ( different brands) so why not here. Andrews was a godsend for upset stomachs. Don't know what I can buy that is the equivalent of Andrews.Emmia said:The Grocer magazine quotes the manufacturer, which states the product has been discontinue

Have you contacted your gp? If it’s a persistent problem I’m sure they will be able to give you meds xconstantworrier said:

It's possible they were all made in the same factory, or using ingredients from the same supplier which closed. Brexit may have made it more difficult for the EU manufacturer supplying Spain/Sweden to bring it to the UK.constantworrier said:

It's probably a low margin/demand product, not worth the costs involved.

You're probably right Emmia, very disappointing.

I don't know what the active ingredients are in liver salts, but does anyone know if there's a way you can replicate it's effects? Like eating a piece of cheese instead of taking indigestion tablets, or boiling vinegar in your kettle instead of descaler stuff to get rid of limescale.Shout out to people who don't know what the opposite of in is.1

Apparently Bicarbonate of soda is supposed to work but I haven't tried it.YoungBlueEyes said:I don't know what the active ingredients are in liver salts, but does anyone know if there's a way you can replicate it's effects? Seen online that you can make your own liver salts with a few ingredients, can't remember what they are and I'd be frightened to even try.0 -
