cars can go beyond 100000 miles these days easily, what kills a car these days is the electronics, it can write a car off if too many go wrong
it's very hard to find an uncomplicated car these days, bring back the old mark two escorts I say.
Mercs and bmws are cheap at 10 years old cos they are potential money pits
Skoda make very good cars these days, the Octavia or yeti are very good buys.Christians Against Poverty solved my debt problem, when all other debt charities failed. Give them a call !! ( You don't have to be a Christian ! )

I dont think the 3k difference is worth the swap, I'm an ex car dealer and vehicle finance specialist now. Find other ways to increase your earnings and throw at the loan/ccBaby Step 6/7 . £16000 saved and invested. £47,000 deposit paid on new home DEBT FREE !!!
Currently Negotiating with HMRC !1 -
If it's reliable, I wouldn't risk changing it for 3K. Ten maybe yes but 3K could easily be swallowed with repairs on the new car.
