I also instructed legal team who are working fir me for free. They've paid over 6000 on specialist and pension reports. They are putting a case for discrimination harassment and other stuff against my current (on paper) employer. I haven't been in the office since May 2022.
But now the new department are going back to oh doctor and seeking an updated report? I disclosed my disability when applying for this new job.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0 -
There's no detriment if I withdraw the case? That's covered in the written contract. I specifically requested such a clause. I don't want to "get back" at my employer. I do want to "get out" from my employer!!!...because I have a job offer which I dearly want to take up.
Sadly, the new department has today requested their oh to review his finding that I'm fit for the new job.
I hope he won't do that but don't hold out much hope.
As to the other comment re: getting out from my current employer-my specialist was quite specific-he put it in writing-that my current employers refusal to listen to his professional opinion had caused me significant harm and therefore I should be given ill-health retirement. That was refused. So I went on career break. Working volunteering. Job offer new department. Looks like it'd ebbing away0 -
