If you owe £28 k and Virgin own £9k of the debt, you can pay them 32% of the monthly amount, so £64.

You don't have to but if they moan, just tell them they are getting paid pro rata. That's what Stepchange will do

Or you could knock a couple of tiny debts on the head first, then pay them a slightly higher percentage.

Whatever you do get you emergency fund saved first, minimum £1k, whilst you wait for the defaults. Virgin can take a while with them, so hopefully you will have double that before you start paying them.

And remember to factor in money monthly in your budget for stuff you pay annually, or buy at irregular intervals, and stash that separate to you main bank account. So, bank account, budgeting account with pots if you like and emergency account. That will reduce the number of cries in the years ahead.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing

your payments will be paid out proportionally according to debt size.

so virgin is 33% of total debt, hence they will get 33% of your £200 available.
    hence £66

and amex will only get £10, you see how it works.
normally the min is £5 per creditor in a dmp

thus dmp finishes at exactly the same time all debts are at zero.

you can clear any creditor off via a full and final low settlement offer. but step change wouldn't allow that, any extra money you have they will just split it between creditors.
meaning your full and final settlement low offer won't happen.

you may have to either pay that creditor directly, then tell stepchange.

or stop your plan via stepchange and do it alone by yourself, which is easy enough.
Christians Against Poverty solved my debt problem, when all other debt charities failed. Give them a call !! ( You don't have to be a Christian ! )
