First-come first-served sale?

Whilst browsing for a deal on an up to date slimline portable for the kitchen I found this site advertising their winter sale that starts today for orders to be processed tomorrow on their " first-come first-served " sale.
Heres the link http://www.digitaldirect.co.uk/
There's loads of reductions that look amazing but not being amuch of a techie i'm hesitant to take up an offer. Look in the deals section eg. Toshiba 32WLT66, HD ready LCD TV with integrated freeview tsp £1199.99-sale price £380.00 plus you can get a further 5% reduction through quidco. Are these bargains or just sales techniques? I'm after a decent cheap slimline for the kitchen but unsure what to buy, any ideas.

A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

It always pays to use a price-checking site like Pricerunner.co.uk just to see how realistic the RRP was.
£1200 is an outrageous price these days for a 32" flatscreen, so if it ever was that price it'd have been a couple of years ago. Sub £400 my instinct is it's a decent price if you want a brand name set, but I'd not go so far to say it's a "grabbit".::Quidco.com - £1100 in 11 months. Kerr-ching! ::0 -
Agreed,. I'm after a Canon Ixus 70. There pretty much £130 / £140 everywhere, the sale price here is £170.
