Reporting to Lender - Road Adoption

I’m in the process of trying to buy my first house (3year old new build, Yorkshire), and some issues have arisen. The road it’s on isn’t adopted, there’s no S38, and no concrete plans to get adoption sorted (though the developer have said they plan to do it soon, and have done so for other estates). For what it’s worth, the roads are in a fairly good state currently, and been maintained by the developer.
My solicitor is reporting this to the lender - does anyone have any idea how long it might take them to come back? Has anyone been in a similar situation, and can you share any experiences?

Presumably their valuation assumed the road is adopted (or about to be), so it will take however long it takes them to refer it back to their surveyor for their comments.1
