Warning - TrainPal App Autofill's and Does Not Verify Eurostar Passenger Name

TrainPal App does not ask for Passenger Name during the booking of Eurostar
On the TrainPal App is does not ask you to confirm who is travelling, it just takes the name from the last named passenger that you booked (in my case my partners name) - without asking you to verify or confirm who is travelling.
The app automatically puts the last name used in the previous booking into the reservation and on screen the booking just says 1 Adult - it does not display the name!!! You have to click the down arrow button to see who that passenger is.

I have now 2 sets of return tickets (£168) in the wrong name and Live Chat on TrainPal say that its not their problem and I should have check better when booking.
The TrainPal app should ask you to verify who the passenger is - but it doesn't, this needs to be fixed in the app. (I'm using the app on Android)

The way to avoid these issues is to book direct with Eurostar on their app or website, not via a third party app. Having the right name on the ticket is absolutely vital for international travel.
I wouldn't use Train Pal or another third party booking arrangement due to the risks you've highlighted.1 -
When booking using Trainpal for Eurostar, how do you reserve seats?? There isn't an option. If I book 4 tickets, how can I be sure the seats will be allocated together? If you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T1

Do you have a Eurostar reference for your booking? Once you have this, you can change your allocated seats as you wish while there are empty seats you would prefer to move to.Do Trainpal offer cheaper fares than Eurostar? Like Emmia I wonder why you didn't book direct.0

To see if it was a price thing, I've just compared fares for today for London to Paris on the Eurostar site and Trainpal.martindow said:Do you have a Eurostar reference for your booking? Trainpal appears 45p cheaper per ticket - £217.55 vs £218 on the Eurostar site.
This isn't a price difference that would make me book through them as opposed to Eurostar directly.1
