We have been refused offer after 4 weeks waiting for it, all our circumstances were disclosed at the DIP stage. Only were refused because of "poor banking", as we had 1 DD returned in October, this didn't cause a late payment and we had thousands in savings on another account, we have around 6 accounts, so it's just a silly mistake. Now they want us to have "clear" statement for 3 months - which will be on 23rd of January, it's just a matter of days really, so we spoke with  a manager from a bank and our MA submitted an appeal, as house is not built until July and looks like we've just got very picky underwriter, especially this is a specialist lender to work with adverse.
Any successful stories in here with an appeal?  I know chances are very weak, but still hoping for a miracle. Also in February they said we can apply again.

You can always ask - there is no sort of "righ to appeal" at the end of the day the lender can choose to lend or not - they don't really have to justify that decision.

Is there an option to go elsewhere? If not best idea is to try and appeal to their better nature!

MA already submitted an appeal, he spoke with lender's manager and they have submitted it to underwriter. There is a very low hope they will change that decision, but we can re-apply in February.
Another option would only be something extreme like Together Money, as we have a settled default in past. so the question really is to wait and re-apply with Kent in February with better rates or apply now with Together...don't want to have too many applications, but don't want to loose house either.
