Hi - i will stop getting child benefit 31 August, as my child is going into advanced education. For the period April to August - how would my salary be calculated to establis if earnings over £50k?

Hello - To calculate your adjusted net income, you need to add up your income from all sources, including your salary, dividends, and savings interest. You can then deduct certain expenses such as pension contributions and charitable donations.

And I’m fairly sure this is based on the full tax year (April 2024 to April 2025, if you mean this coming August) - it doesn’t matter how much of the year the child benefit will be paid0
