state pension top up

I top up my state pension on 6/11/23 base on the forcast I received. 6 years of additional, I should
received  extra £34.95 per week, but I received a letter of increased only £16.85/week. Could DWP make a mistake? Has anyone got the same experience.? I got a month from the letter date to challenge. I am waiting to ring on Monday.(stressed!) Can anyone shed any light. Thank you.

Way more information needed. What did your forecast say before you added years? What years did you add?

     I currently received £162.45/wk. forcast for paying extra 6 yrs is £197.40/wk. Years added 2016/17. 2020/21, 2021/22
    2017/18. 2028/19. 2019/2020. years 2016/17 20 wks require to pay . all the rest 52 weeks. Total paid £4386.00

letter received for £717.16 every 4 weeks fr 8/1/24. This equates according to the forcast is only 3 years, not 6 yrs that I paid.
     Hope this help. Thank you

Something is not right there, the increase of £16.84 does not equate to 3 (post 2016) years at £5.82.  It is more like 2 post 2016 years and 1 pre.  Have you checked which years have actually been added ?  Do you have a printout of the situation before you paid and now ?

Yes I received a estimate letter from DWP is total 6 years max I can pay, which I paid in full . According to the letter I should get extra of £34.95 /wk . I have to ring DWP tomorrow , just thought before I do, is there anything I am missing.

Do you not have on line access to your tax account / NI record - the easiest way to check anything ?

The NI record will show the years that are full.  Does it show the correct years as being topped up ?
