Tbh I haven’t got any spare money like that. Been playing around on the remortgage calculators I noticed the difference. One thing I didn’t take into consideration was my age and length of mortgage. I’m 39 and took out 35 year mortgage 5 years ago. Will I just be allowed a maximum of 30 years now?
If you do a product transfer with Halifax you will stay on the same mortgage term but you can overpay to bring the term down.

If you remortgage to a new lender you can choose your mortgage term provided you qualify for the affordability criteria.

You can change the mortgage term with Halifax as part of the process.

If you value your time best done via a Broker not direct with the Lender.

Ah right so there’s still a chance I could extend it to 35 years a product transfer?
