income tax on interest from savings

Hi...just out of interest ( No pun!!)....is there some site where I can enter details of status /income/interest.. etc to work out my true position...or will my accountant do this for me?? Many thanks for all help Ian...0

This site will give you all the help you need as long as you are happy giving your details. ( PM me if you would prefer and I'll see if I can help) Most of the other sites I know of will work out tax etc but not take into account interest etc,
I am sure your accountant will also do this at a charge of course.0 -
If someone is classed as self employed, but not earning enough to pay income tax, do they still have to have tax deducted from savings? I cant seem to find out the criteria for tax on savings.... THX0

the criteria is essentially that your gross income (earning plus gross interest plus dividends) is less than 5225 this tax year0
