Hi all,
A couple of weeks back I noticed my credit score shot up to Excellent, my default was removed!, the thing is it's only been 4yrs, I'm still paying the debt off via Credit Security LTD.
Today I received a letter from LINK Financial advising that my debt has been sold off and to continue paying Credit Security LTD as normal.
My question is can the default be re-added back on from LINK Financial?.

Whoever owns the debt can report to any number of credit reference agencies, including none of them.
They must use the initial date of default, and the whole entry will disappear 6 years after default or settled, whichever happens sooner.1
