XBOX 360 Premium Packages

Does anyone know of any XBOX 360 deals currently/may happen soon?

I have £230 to spend. Say GAME offered the premium console plus gears of war, could I barter and ask them if I could have Halo 3 instead?

NOTE: I dont want really want to buy online.

the likes of GOW and halo 3 are similar in value so probably fine

everytime i have asked they have told me the bundles are controlled by Head Office and they cannot change them!

I'd try Gamestation if you have one near you, they always seem a lot more helpful than Game and usually better on price.

They are also fairer on trade in value on games (although still not fantastic)

GOW and Halo3 the same price? GOW has been out ages and halo 3 is pretty new. I doubt you will get them to swap it they never budge on bundle offers. I would wait for them to change the deals and include halo3 if that is game you want.

Yes, since early this summer.

The takeover of Gamestation by Game has been referred to the Competition Commission by the OFT however, so they might not be the same company for long!!

my local hmv have held the offer that includes need for speed street and halo 3 with a pro console at £250. i didnt want need for speed so i asked if i could change it. the bloke said i could change one or both of the games if i wanted, so long as the game i chose was upto the value of £40. so i got halo 3 and call of duty 4 with mine. dont go to the counter to ask. go were the games are in the shop and stand there looking at the bundle offers. you will then get asked if you need help for sure. that is when to ask.
whether that offer changes from tomorrrow or whether there are any new offers from tomorrow i dont know.
