I am sorry you had such a bad time. I would be interested in following this conversation, as I have just been given the choice to swap to the alpha scheme following the Remedy ( McCloud) review.

Hello, I am facing this 5 yr Upper Tier review later this year aswell and I can't find any information about what it entails, would you mind letting me know how it all went and whatvit condisted of? I too only got mine on appeal, and it was really stressful!tracej said:Hi, I’m in receipt of civil service ill health pension at alpha upper tier and was told it is reviewed every five years - my five year point is next month. Can anyone tell me what to expect, eg do I need to provide more documents, investigations etc? I had a terrible time with my original application and finally got the pension awarded on appeal, really hoping I don’t need to go through all that again.0 -

Hi interested in this as well, could you or anyone state how they got on. I have my review coming up very soon and am really anxious about it. Im on Alpha and Nuvos, ill health upper tier. I ajd a very hard time getting out. It was on the third application they finally let me go. I am freaking out over it. I obtained a copy of the review form that they use and it doesn't ask anything too evasive , just to pensioner to co for they've done.no gainful work in last 5 years and sign a declaration... and then a GP part to confirm conditions, treatments/therapies and asks what impact conditions have on ability to work in gainful employment. But I would really like to hear of someone who has experienced this process... anyone....
